Mulan

Bought a copy of Mulan on DVD for K last week (Yes, K is indeed amassing quite the DVD empire). It was $14. K enjoys the film very much and makes an effort to watch it at least once a day. She was quite tense the first time she watched the film. There's a scene where the huns are attacking Mulan's platoon on a steep snowy mountainside. As the huns were advancing on calvary, K held her hands up to the TV and yelled "Stop!" a number of times. Of course the huns didn't listen to K & she found this rather frustrating. When Mulan got hurt during that episode, K took out her stethoscope, stepped up to the TV, and held it up to Mulan. Guess I better start saving for med school.
