supplying #40, village green

Supplied for a half a day today. Half days are really wonderful things. Why can't a workday just be a half day? The kids were super. Grade 4s. They finished their stories, practiced reading a poem for tomorrow's Rememberance Day assembly, and I read a bit of The Bad Beginning to them.

SJ, K, and I had kalbe for dinner. While eating we watched a Korean soap opera on TV. It was okay ... and then out of the blue, during a scene where a young couple sat at a bar, I heard the wonderful song Picture Book in the background. Hearing a song from Village Green Preservation Society on a Korean soap opera was an ultrarare treat. Ultrarare and unexpected!
