salsa on st. clair

On Friday we went to the ROM, the underground by the Manulife Centre, and then checked out Salsa on St. Clair with the kids and our niece. We were like a convoy of two strollers weaving through the packed closed-off part of St. Clair. Unfortunately, we had already had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant on Bloor, so we couldn't partake in any of the delicious treats. Actually, on second thought I shouldn't complain because the dinner was lovely.

Salsa on St. Clair reminded me of last year. Just 12 months ago I went to a pretty good Trek convention with my friend Ru and then visited some friends who own a cafe and then went to check out Salsa with SJ and K. At the convention we almost got to meet Matthew Waterhouse (who starred as Adric opposite the deliciously clever Tom Baker). Yesterday involved the St. Lawrence Market and the Circus Festival in the Distillery District. Today we made the ever-familiar trip to Rona and then did house stuff. Back to work tomorrow.
