kimche adventure

Kyung Ja, Suk Ja, and Katie picked me up from work last night. My wife told me that we were going out to buy some bae-chu (also known as Chinese cabbage). We went to a big supermarket in Seoul (like Costco). We bought nine bae-chu, and about a thousand other things.

Then, we went home and made kimche (pickled cabbage). My contributions to the preparations involved me reading chapters 4 and 5 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, then going out for a 60 minute run. We will test the kimche tomorrow.
